10.1 On your first visit to the Platform, a Cookie Consent Banner is displayed. You may: (a) Accept All — all cookie categories enabled; (b) Reject Non-Essential — only Essential cookies enabled; (c) Manage Preferences — individually select cookie categories.
10.2 Consent is recorded with: timestamp, consent version, categories accepted, and device identifier. This record is maintained for compliance purposes.
10.3 Consent is not required for Essential Cookies. Essential Cookies are activated based on contractual necessity for Platform functionality (not consent) under DPDP Act 2023.
10.4 Cookie consent is separate from and independent of consent for personal data processing under the Master Privacy Policy (PP-168.0). Withdrawal of cookie consent does not affect other privacy consents and vice versa.
11. How to Manage & Opt Out of Cookies
11.1 Platform Cookie Settings: Account → Settings → Privacy → Cookie Preferences. Changes take effect immediately.
11.2 Browser Controls: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note: blocking Essential Cookies will prevent login and Platform functionality.

11.5 Email Request: To opt out of all non-essential cookies, email privacy@seekhobecho.com with subject "Cookie Opt-Out." Processed within 72 hours.
12. Cookie Retention Periods
Cookies are automatically deleted after their retention period expires. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies expire on their specified date. You may delete cookies at any time through your browser or Platform settings. Deletion does not affect previous data already collected during the cookie's active period.
13. Cookies on Mobile Applications
13.1 The SeekhoBecho.com iOS and Android applications use: (a) Device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID) for analytics and ad measurement — subject to device-level privacy settings; (b) Firebase SDK for app analytics and crash reporting; (c) Local app storage for session and preference data.
13.2 You can reset or limit your Advertising ID through: iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID.
14. Local Storage & Similar Technologies
14.1 We use browser Local Storage for: storing course progress data locally for faster loading; caching Pearl balance for display performance; offline mode support for learning content. Local Storage data is accessible only to SeekhoBecho.com and is never shared with third parties.
15. Do Not Track (DNT) Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. The Platform currently does not alter its tracking practices based on DNT signals as there is no universal standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted. Users wishing to opt out of non-essential tracking should use the Platform's Cookie Settings or the opt-out methods in Section 11.
16. Children & Cookies (DPDP Act 2023 Section 9)
16.1 Consistent with DPDP Act 2023, Section 9(3): Marketing, advertising, and behavioural tracking cookies are NOT activated for users identified as children (under 18) or users who have indicated minor status.
16.2 Performance and analytics cookies for minor accounts are restricted to aggregated, anonymised data only — no individual behaviour tracking.
17. Cross-Border Cookie Data
17.1 Some third-party cookie providers (Google, Meta) process cookie data on servers outside India. This processing is governed by those providers' own privacy policies and standard contractual clauses. The Company uses only GDPR/DPDP-compliant configurations of these tools where available.
18. Changes to This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy is updated annually or when we add or remove cookies. Material changes — such as adding new third-party cookie providers — will trigger a fresh consent request to all users. Effective date is shown at the top of this Policy.
